We are looking for a senior accountant with career ambitions and previous experience from accounting in Swedish organizations. You will play a key role in building our new accounting department that is providing our Swedish clients with all accounting-related services.
Your main tasks will be the following:
• Managing the accounting for 10-20 Swedish clients (small and midsize) in accordance with Swedish GAAP;
• Local implementation of accounts payable / accounts receivable processes;
• Supporting the Country manager in setting up local policies and routines;
• Assisting the recruitment and training of new team members;

• You hold a university degree in accounting or finance
• You have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (knowledge of Swedish local statutory accounting, currency, and tax and trade controls is desired)
• You have a comprehensive understanding of business and accounting practices, systems and procedures;
• You are capable of independently handling complex accounting issues, such as methodology changes, reorganization and accounting standards
• You have a proven record of strong initiative, leadership and accountability
• Your IT skills and your social and communication abilities are highly developed
• You are fluent in English
