For one of our clients acting in the field of real estate development and investment in Central-Eastern Europe (CEE) and South-Eastern Europe (SEE), we are looking for an Accountant.
Review invoices, bills, vouchers or other documents to make sure they are in line with the contracts and they are properly approved;
Post transactions into Scala accounting system;
Verifies balance for key accounts (Payable, Receivable, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Investment in progress, Banks);
Ensure that all records, transactions, reports, operating practices and documentation are compliance with Romanian regulation;
Prepare weekly cash position on the monetary accounts;
Prepare the draft balance sheet for revision;
Provide support to Chief Accountant during the statutory closing process;
Provides support during audit and fiscal controls.
Prepares VAT calculation and returns, prepares local tax and other tax declarations as required;
Provides support to Chief Accountant in calculation of Profit tax return;
Prepares management reports and variance analysis as requested by the management;
Keeps up to date with the changes in local accounting and tax legislation.
University Degree in Accounting or Finance;
Experience in Accounting – minimum 2 years;
Advanced MS OFFICE User Ability;
Knowledge of Scala - would be an advantage;
Fluent in English;
Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, positive attitude;
Attention to detail, organized, responsible.
