For our client, a prestigious non-bank financial institution providing financing solutions for large corporations, middle market companies, professionals, small businesses and local authorities, being the largest lease firm in Belgium & Luxembourg and among the top five European cross-border leasing companies, we are looking for an Accountant.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of the National Bank of Romania rules applicable to non-banking financial institutions is a must.
Experience in leasing including accounting procedures;
Knowledge of tax principles regarding the creation of invoices and posting documents;
Knowledge of Basel II;
Knowledge of the monthly closing requirements according to GAAP;
Knowledge of the yearly closing requirements according to IAS/IFRS;
University in (business) economics or equivalent education with focus on accounting;
Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
Previous experience in a similar position within a non-banking financial institution;

Due to the expansion of the Group¿s IT distribution activities in Romania, Logicom Public LTD - through Lugera & Makler - is looking for an Accountant.
The person to be appointed will report to the General Manager and the Group Financial controller and will be expected to successfully:
- Organize and run smoothly the accounting department;
- Prepare monthly accounts and reports to the Head Office;
- Assist in the preparation of the company budgets;
- Monitor and control the receivables and stocks;
- Deal with the tax authorities and other Governmental departments;
- Deal with banks on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Fixed assets booking and reconciliation with trial balance;
Daily posting of all incoming invoices for goods and services;
Follows the own intangible and tangible assets ,movements and depreciation;
Control and posting the guarantees from customers;
Salaries booking and reconciliation with payments;
Assisting and supporting the company’s auditors;
Bank statement checking, booking and reconciliation of differences;
Suppliers invoice checking, booking;
Monthly summary of overhead costs an the evolution for reporting to management.
