Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the accounting documents;
- Responsible for the review / preparation for all primary accounting documents according to local compliance regulations;
- Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients (depreciation, prepayments, re-evaluations);
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports required by the client;
- Reviews and checks the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc;
- Prepares on a monthly basis supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts, by indicated deadlines;
- Prepares the monthly tax returns, by indicated deadlines;
- Specialises in financial accounting: including the preparation of statutory accounts with notes and financial reporting – may also include tax;
- Where applicable prepares accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards;
- Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation;
- Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to: primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects.
Requirements:
- Economical university degree;
- At least 2 years experience in an accounting expertise office or in a company accounting department;
- Very good English command, French /German command will be considered an advantage;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Is able to work on a certain number of clients in the same time and prioritises the work;
- Is able to adapt to change, to remain focused and to deliver results;
- Organises own work in an efficient manner.
