Due to the expansion of the Group¿s IT distribution activities in Romania, Logicom Public LTD - through Lugera & Makler - is looking for an Accountant.
The person to be appointed will report to the General Manager and the Group Financial controller and will be expected to successfully:
- Organize and run smoothly the accounting department;
- Prepare monthly accounts and reports to the Head Office;
- Assist in the preparation of the company budgets;
- Monitor and control the receivables and stocks;
- Deal with the tax authorities and other Governmental departments;
- Deal with banks on a daily basis.
- University degree in Accounting or Finance or Business related subject or any other relevant professional qualification;
- At least three years prior experience in a similar position;
- Good experience in working with computerized accounting systems (knowledge of Microsoft Navision will be considered an advantage);
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping;
- Have a basic understanding of company and personal taxation and social insurance matters;
- Good knowledge of word and excel;
- Excellent knowledge of oral and written English;
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines;
- Ability to work as part of a team.
