ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSABILITATI

Our client is a multinational company, well-known manufacturer of white goods. They are now looking to hire a young, dynamic and motivated professional for the Accountant vacancy available with their offices in Bucharest.

Key responsibilities of the future employee will include:

¿ monitor the set-up and propose improvements to the company accounting systems and procedures
¿ make different types of entries to accounts
¿ check and record the import invoices and customs declarations
¿ perform the allocation of customs declarations items per businesses
¿ control the selling invoices and check the automatic recordings
¿ calculate, control the discounts (rebates, bonuses) and issue invoices (Credit Notes, price correction etc.) towards customers; booking them
¿ organize and monitor a good flow of incoming money (ceques, promissory notes, payment orders) and relationship with the banks
¿ support in preparing financial reports
¿ control the VAT applicable to importing and selling invoices
¿ record the invoices and Credit Notes from suppliers
¿ record the payments to suppliers (AP) and collection of money from customers (AR)
¿ examine, review and monitor accounts and procedures of company operations in order to simplify, streamline, maintain financial control and increase accuracy of the data produced
¿ review the accounts in accordance with Romanian GAAP
¿ record statement of account and travelling statements
¿ support in internal business risk and control assessment.
