- Responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the accounting documents;
- Responsible for the review / preparation for all primary accounting documents according to local compliance regulations;
- Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients (depreciation, prepayments, re-evaluations);
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements and reports required by the client;
- Reviews and checks the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc;
- Prepares on a monthly basis supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts, by indicated deadlines;
- Prepares the monthly tax returns, by indicated deadlines;
- Specialises in financial accounting: including the preparation of statutory accounts with notes and financial reporting – may also include tax;
- Where applicable prepares accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards;
- Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation;
- Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to: primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects.
The ideal candidate is a young, motivated graduate, looking for a challenging environment where they can grow and be promoted after demonstrating their abilities and dedication. You should be able to communicate easily with clients either in English or in French/German, you should be adaptable and integrate well in the team, able to prioritise work and deal with several clients at the same time and comply with all company policies and procedures.
