RESPONSABILITATI

The company provides Corporate Management Administration and Property Management Administration services to multinational organisations and high net-worth individuals who are in the process of establishing, or have established, a presence in the CEE region. Given the increasing level of international investor interest in Romania and other countries in South Eastern Europe, the company will be expanding its presence by opening an office in Bucharest.

The successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

- Compiles financial information and participates in the preparation of reports;
- Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;
- Initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts; Reconciles sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolves differences;
- Key participation in preparation and ensuring of the integrity and proper disclosure of the accounting and financial reports generated by the client companies on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in accordance with the Romanian accounting standards;
- Key participation in preparation of corporate accounting and financial reports generated by the client companies on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in accordance with IAS/ IFRS/ US GAAP etc.;
- Computes taxes owed and prepares tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements;
- Keeps up-to-date with laws and regulations that apply to a particular field of professional expertise to maintain up-to-date compliance;
- Establishes tables of accounts, and assigns entries to proper accounts;
- Responsible for maintaining an efficient accounting document flow;
- Maintains direct contact with clients and partners; Provides advice and support to clients in meeting their regulatory requirements;
- Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/ or format data and/ or reports.


CERINTE

Suitable candidates should possess all or almost all of the following skills and expertise:

- University degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting;
- Successful work experience preferably within international environment, 2+ years;
- Experience in preparing, reviewing and submitting of financial and tax reports is a plus; experience with financial consolidation is considered a distinct advantage;
- Thorough knowledge of local legislation;
- Self-driven, well-organized and adaptive;
- Fluency in English;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with Accountancy software.
