Responsibilities
• Spot business opportunities through market research and analysis
• Product launch
• Product and Campaign launch Management
• Build distributional channel network relationships
• Coordinate, lead and measure brokers’ GPA and VGA activity directly
• Work with other Profit Centers and increase the policyholder cross product holding
• Identify and develop alternate distribution techniques to supplement agency sales
• Train and empower sales staff to build product to suit clients needs
• Share and promote best practices in sales techniques
• Develop all personnel in their respective distribution channel sales techniques
• Coordinate regional Budget preparation and presentation
• Collecting and analyzing sales data for planning and strategy sessions
• Collecting and analyzing operational data for maximizing resources and GAAP profit
• Responsible for the profitability of his Portfolio and P&L
• Responsible for coordinate with regional management the reinsurance treaties
• Responsible for working within specific underwriting authority provided
Profile of the ideal candidate
• Basic Degree holder or Masters Degree in Business, Economics, Banking or Liberal Arts
• Background in Sales & Marketing
• Likely background – bank branch manager, FMCG Manager, other
insurance company executive
• 2-3 years of management experience
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Fluency in English
• Understanding of financial numbers
• Outgoing and confident and able to do public speaking
• Organized, able to manage projects
• Work well under pressure
