The objective of this position will be to guarantee new 3rd Party materials readiness, as well as availability in accordance with customers’ orders & forecast.
• Assurance of supply
o Monitors CM & suppliers procurement performance (PO execution, supply visibility)
o Recommend expedite actions
o Manages daily alerts (L3 escalations)
o Manages appropriate communication with suppliers
o Participates actively to the commodity review (focus on operational side)
o Ensure optimum buffers definition
o Escalates major issues to suppliers
• Connection with deal management & planning teams
o Check weekly forecast, detecting potential issues & handshake these with deal management teams
• Product Life Cycle Management
o Excess management (liability mgt, approval accrual, …)
o New component set up
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field of expertise with a focus in business or economics
Experience
- Typically 2+ years of experience in more than one planning or procurement function
- Experience in developing procurement/supply chain analysis & driving improvement plans responding to structural issues
- Experience in acting as liaison between various internal organizations
- Experience in working on an outsourced model
- Experience in the electronic or automotive industry
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Broad knowledge of administration, report generation and database inputs, analytics and data quality management
- Good business acumen
- Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point, data bases like SAP, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively to tight, fixed timescales
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
- Customer oriented
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to easily adapt to different situations, efficient in stressful situations
