- Facilitate the development of proposal budgets and maintain and control proposal costs by working with respective Business Applications Managers and Engineering, Estimating and Procurement personnel.
- Participate in the development of proposal working tools to improve the effectiveness of the proposal process.
- Coordinate and schedule proposal cost review, price review and risk reviews.
- Convene and run Weekly Precontract meetings, as required.
- Ensure that Proposal database is properly maintained.
- Coordinate and facilitate implementation of corporate initiatives in pre-contract proposal submittals; to include:
- Cost Reduction actions
- 6 Sigma actions
- Global Sourcing actions
- Projects Lessons Learned feedback
- Coordinate interface between BA groups and data requirements to support the Society¿s Corporate initiatives; C30, 6 Sigma, Global Sourcing, Cash for Growth.
Education:
- Master in business, engineering or related field required.
Experience:
- Five (5) years experience in the APC industry and/or proposal preparation in technology-based projects business.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of company products; knowledge of APC markets; general knowledge of fossil power plant operations and power generating industry.
Skills:
- Good presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, ability to understand customer and market requirements thoroughly.
Others:
- The candidate will have to spend app. 6 month in EMEA existing units (Italy, Norway, Sweden) for training.
