The AE work with the Technical Team Lead to implement and maintain a portion of the application code for the flagship product of the company. Key responsibilities include:
-Writing SQL and database update code;
- Writing workflow rules;
- Creating and modifying client application user interfaces (HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript);
- Creating unit tests and test data for the applications;
- Testing the applications;
- Responding to escalated questions from QA on the application;
- Fixing bugs;
On behalf of our client, world leader in development and distribution of CAD software, we are searching for 2 X Applications Engineers that must have:
- Fluency in written English;
- Strong technical background and problem solving skills;
- Web application experience (HTML, Java Script, SQL);
- Experience with a programming language (e.g. C#, ASP.Net, Java);
- Willingness to take on new challenges;
- Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written);
- Exceptional critical thinking with a high level of motivation to learn;
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects and responsibilities;
- Ability to communicate effectively with product teams and general engineering staff; ability to build positive relationships across the organization;
- Strong ability to successfully manage concurrent deliverables on time and with quality within fast-paced environment and under deadlines;
- Experience in XML/XSL a plus;
- Familiarity with AutoCAD a plus;
- Previous Experience in Real Estate, Facility Management, Finance, or Higher Education industries a plus;
- This position requires as B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering and/or 1 to 3 years of equivalent professional experience;
- Candidate must be a team player;
