For our multinational client from FMCG field, we are searching for a (JUNIOR)DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR who has in-depth knowledge of MSSQL SERVER architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Interrogation and administration of DB integrity.
- Installation of new software, application software and other software related to DB administration.
- Configuration of hardware and software with the system administrator to perform software installations and to configure hardware and software so that it functions optimally with the DB
- Security administration — by monitoring and administering DB security. This involves adding and removing users, administering quotas, auditing, and checking for security problems.
- Data analysis and backups policies — stored in the database and to make recommendations relating to performance and efficiency of that data storage.
- Database design (preliminary)
- Data modeling and optimization
- Technical University degree;
- Relevant experience (at least 1 year) in DB administration , maintenance, tuning and installing, knowledge of testing methodologies, knowledge in DB back-up and recovery;
- Knowledge of Windows 2000 / 2003 and SQL Server 2000 / 2005.
- Fluency in English;
- Young and enthusiastic individuals with IT skills and desire to grow and develop their potential; - Driving license B is a plus.
