- Design high performance algorithms for image processing, targeted on FPGA or ASIC devices.
- Prototype digital image related project on in-house demo boards.
- Implement digital integrated circuits on latest technologies, to be included in mass production photo and video cameras.
- Interact with customers for IP cores integration on target platform.
- Deep understanding of FPGA and ASIC technologies, design flows, and design tools;
- Digital IC design experience: Verilog HDL/VHDL, Simulation, Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis;
- Experience in using verification methodologies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Would be a plus:
- Experience in Version control tools and methodologies;
- Basic experience in C, C++ language;
- Verification languages: SimPlus, Specman, Vera, System Verilog, or System C
- Use of scripting languages as PERL, Tcl, Makefile
- Image processing algorithms
- Communication protocols and algorithms
