Our client is a multinational company, a leading supplier for gas springs and dampers worldwide. 3000 employees in 10 plants on 5 continents produce highly reliable quality products that make automobiles, furniture and machines safer and more comfortable. Together we are looking for a Technical Editor with German.
The aim of the position is to support the SEP manager, the SEP team leader and the department SEP as described in the following main and secondary tasks. The job holder has the obligation to "never-ending improvement" and bears the responsibility for the quality of his work. As part of its function the job holder is responsible for the quality of the company and its products.
The job holder works together with the project managers to create:
- system documentation
- process-related documents
- risk assessments
as part of new constructions and improvements of technical equipment, under consideration of:
- legal requirements
- company’s internal policies and agreements
- economy
Main tasks:
1. Creating the technical documentation in English, German and Romanian;
2. Creating the CE conformity declarations;
3. Creating the operating instructions;
4. Creating the risk assessments;
5. Creating the process-related documents;
6. Creating the documentation for APQP;
7. Creating the PPAP documents;
8. Participating in the process planning and work area design;
9. Participating in the preparation and implementation of process FMEA, profitability calculations and "worst margin" considerations;
10. Cooperating and supporting during customer visits and audit's in process-relevant topics;
11. Compliance with the passive control;
Secondary tasks:
1. Supporting the department in solving problems or improvements on existing procedures, methods and systems for existing processes;
2. Participating in the preparation of the company standards;
3. Processing of proposals for improvement and optimization;
4. Training of new employees and trainees;
5. Training and information about the state of the tasks listed in the main areas;
6. Considering the existing procedures, work instructions and manuals (eg quality manual) and act according to them;
• Fluent in speaking/writing German;
• Fluent in speaking/writing English;
• Good communication skills;
• Technical Studies would be an advantage;
• Interested in Technical field;
• Previous experience in creation technical documentation in German language;
• Able to work under stress;
• Able to act independently as well as in a team;
• Availability for business travels together with Automatic Engineers.
