• System software engineer.
• Enhance, maintain and extend our C/C++ software running on SoC based set-top boxes and Linux based servers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required technical
• Strong skills in C programming on Linux systems.
• Extensive Linux / Unix system knowledge.
• OO skills in C++.
• Experience working with embedded devices.
• Overall understanding of TCP/IP networks and common protocols.
• Related libraries, frameworks and tools.
Optional as a plus
• Digital multimedia (MPEG, DVB & related).
• Linux specific APIs in the multimedia domain.
• IPTV (including VoD) related protocols and concepts.
Other
• At least 5 years of experience in the requested domain.
• Open source and open standards affinity.
• English language.
Special Requirements
• Flexibility in location and mind.
• Strong teamwork competence.
