The Supplier Quality Engineer will be dedicated to ensure the respecting of Autoliv quality standards and requirements for a group of suppliers which will relocate to Eastern Europe. will act as an ambassador for ALV (will represent both Inflators Romania and other Autoliv plants in relationships with suppliers)
Support western Europe suppliers transfer of production sites to eastern Europe/ Romania.
Work closely with Inflators Europe Supplier Quality Commodity Manager in France.
Provide the necessary defined trainings for suppliers in order to increase their quality level
When there are non-conforming deliveries, to communicate with suppliers and follow-up on appropriate actions
Provide data for measuring supplier performance
Will be the person responsible for 8D process owner
Conduct supplier process audits.
Verify effectiveness of corrective actions (including using 8D tool)
Responsible for supplier process audit and follow up containment at suppliers site
Responsible for a variety of suppliers
Experienta:
- More than 3 years in automotive industry or other industrial manufacturing industry with high quality requirements
- We are also interested in candidates with a background in positions such as Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, Project Team Leader/Project manager, Sales-Purchase manager, General quliaty with focus on supplier relations
- Experience in coordinating many tasks preferably in customer or supplier relationships
- Experience in Audits (audits to supplier sites is an advantage
Background & skills:
- Engineering Degree (Preferably within Mechanical, Industrial, Material (Steels), Industrial economics)
- Target focused and autonomous in working style. High level of integrity
- Advanced communication skills in English, French is an advantage
- Driving license is required
- Good knowledge of ISO TS16949 standards
- Confident, able to fix and respect clear expectations, targets & requirements
