Working under Purchasing Manager supervision he/she is responsable for de quality of raw materials.
Participate in supplier selection process.
Track and evaluate supplier quality performance.
Set up actions plan for raw materials suppliers in order to assure the quality level required by the group (corrective actions, advancement plan, audits, etc.).
Cooperate with production and quality departement for the initial tests before validation process.
Initial samples validation.
Perform supplier audits.
This position usually involves regulary trips to the suppliers (inside or outside the country).
Graduate in Technical University or equivalent discipline.
Minimum of 1 year experience as Quality Engineer or Production within Manufacturing.
Knowledge in ISO 9000/2000 or TS 16949/2002 is an advantage.
General knowledge of technical aspects : design,production, etc.
General knowledge of metrology and statistics methods SPC.
Knowledge of quality documents (FMEA, Actions Plan, etc.).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Very organized and analytical person.
Previous experience in customer/supplier interaction is a clear advantage.
Good English skills - spoken and written;technical language preferable.
Autonomous, used to maintain relationship.
