• Facilitate and manage a spot buy process for the general categories

• Execute a standardized spot buying process
• Manage specifications, using the category cards, for the provision of specific goods or services in line with the business .To strive for best value for money options, through execution of a standardized spot buying processes, use of appropriate spot buy tools and negotiations
• To be accountable for maintaining quality and service standards to support the overall Accenture-Client(s) relationship and to deliver continuous improvement
• Good interpersonal skills (needs to be able to build relationships over the phone without meeting suppliers / customers on a regular basis)
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers
• Procurement and analytical background.
• Ability to analyze spot buy data
• Quantitative skills — ability to understand pricing models and analyze/interpret commercial proposals
• Preferably procurement experience
• Good IT procurement skills. PC (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other Spot buy tools (Ariba, Easy Procure) essential.
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Very good written and spoken French skills
• 1-3 years as a buyer in a middle sized or large organization
• Preferably commercial international experience in buying goods and commodities
• relocation to Bratislava - Slovakia needed (we are offering a relocation package as an employee benefit for foreign employees)
