The serial buyer has to manage the local suppliers on daily working and to secure the capacity for the plant.
He has to ensure a technical support of the products and processes within the company.
He has to participate in budget process and cost reduction activities.
Production Components Purchasing :
- He must coordinate the purchasing tasks within the transfer project team.
- He ‘s responsible of the quality, costs, delivery and service of the suppliers by anticipating and by following the setting up of capacities and by treating internal demands with the suppliers.
- He has to establish the components cost budget.
Develop Autoliv standards at the suppliers and verify their application.
- He has to deploy and to promote the “Autoliv Supplier Management” (ASM).
- He participates in the continuous improvement steps at the supplier by coordinating and following the progress plans.
Management and communication :
- The serial buyer plays the role of interface between the suppliers and the Autoliv group.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in production, or process engineering, or design, or engineering in mechanics area.
1 to 3 years of experience as purchaser (in automotive industry if possible).
Mechanical Engineer
Knowledge in marketing, in mass production industry, in management.
