For our client, a fast-moving web solutions company, that delivers innovative online solutions for helping creative professionals succeed, we are currently looking for a Senior PHP Developer, to be part of their team. You will be involved in developing both current and new applications they are working on.
This person will actively participate in designing user interface elements, web server controls, and services. Additionally, the PHP Developer needs to contribute to ongoing code management and development process best practice methods. This position also participates in requirements analysis, design, code test and support phases of software product development.
Your responsibilities:
Developing detailed design specifications from a set of requirements
Implementing coding solutions
Building unit tests as needed for products
Integrating third party solutions as needed into the system
Designing and developing interfaces between logical components of system
Participating in QA and maintenance processes
Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in web development, out of which at least 2 years with PHP
Knowledgeable with OOP skills
Experience with RDBMSs
Experience developing for the cloud
Linux administration skills or Zend certification are a plus
Able to work in a collaborative team environment
Meticulous attention to detail
The ability to work with minimal to no supervision
Positive attitude and absolute professionalism in the workplace
Sense of urgency and ability to juggle multiple high priority tasks
Fluent in English
