Job Summary:
You will be part of a team, which delivers value added software services to mobile operators. You will have the opportunity to develop technical solutions for projects with high quality expectations and challenging deadlines, for mobile operators around the world. In order to cope with dynamic customer environments and high performance expectations, you will have to master the technologies used in testing environments: Oracle DB, UNIX/Linux (Solaris, Red Hat), Virtualization (VMware, XEN).
The objectives are to:
Ensure that the environments are available and maintained enabling testers to confirm that the solutions meet or exceed the quality requirements
Create and maintain test process materials – test plans, test specifications and test reports
Provide organized support so that testers can independently execute tests
Ensure that the quality of the client’s kernel and solutions is carefully tracked and documented; this is achieved by tracking software patch verifications and by making proven (tested) patches available
Collaborate closely with external suppliers as well as internal Project Leaders, Product Managers and collect feedback from the Stakeholders regarding the quality of the testing process
Contribute to increasing the quality of the software kernel and solutions by reviewing the documentation (Requirements, Design Specifications and Admin Guides)
What will your responsibilities look like?
Define automatic processes for testing (automation and performance tests)
Recommend tools usage to perform tests and optimize test capacity
Identify overload limits
Be in charge of the test execution and test training process in order to complete a project’s test phase, including planning, design, execution, defect validation and reporting.
Maintain SSIS, package status
Manage test environment resources, identify test resource needs
Measurement Criteria
A clear status of test environments is available upon request
A clear status of all software packages (tested and untested) is available in SSIS
A total of 100% tested packages
Test coverage for all solution developments
What abilities will you need?
Excellent know-how of the technologies used in testing environments: DB, UNIX/Linux, Virtualization (VMware, XEN)
Solid bug tracking and test reporting skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Orientation to details and drive to develop new test designs
Familiarity with test methodologies and technologies
