- Design electronic control units/modules considering the electrical tolerance, limitations and the requirements of the automotive industry;
- Work with hardware team to design and document according to Preh and supplier standards.
- Calculate and document worstcase scenarios and analysis. Test and define the limits of the analysis results to meet the “robustness validation” criteria.
- Development of testing procedures, testing HW components;
- Support and coordinate samples for the different optimizations. Check and monitor the module validation as well as result interpretation and improvements.
- Supporting the SW and Test team in developing the embedded SW applications
- Support Quality and Purchasing departments and other departments as needed.
- Support cost quotation and analysis.
- Designing high volume systems
- Analysis, specification, documentation of module- and system requirements, of single HW functions, failure- and root cause analysis;
- Design of circuit diagrams, schematics, documentation and PCB layout support,design for EMC;
- Cooperation with international project teams,suppliers and customers .
- Collaborating with layout engineers for schematic entry and layout development;
- Supporting customers, sales teams and production sites
- Product cost optimization initiatives
- Advice manufacturing teams for solving the issues from the production
- Coordinate the design and verification of the ECUs (incl. mechanic, manufacturing, test, EMC)
- Create or update the Circuit Module Schematic and eBOM verification by simulation and calculation, FMEA
University Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automatics and Computer Science;Electrotehnics , Mechatronics , Informatics
Solid and previous hardware and system experience ( simulate ,calculate and analyze hardware modules and functions, Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a team in an international environment;
Deep knowledge in analog and digital circuits and design tools,,Knowledge in embedded systems with microcontrollers .
Very good communication skills;
Process-oriented, structured and analytic;
Good knowledge in measurement techniques; test equipment ;
Experience in automotive electronics including networking (CAN,LIN,flexray bus) advantageous;
Knowledge and design according to EMC design constraints.
FMEA knowledge is an advantage; Automotive experience is an advantage;
Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking;
Experience in international multi-site teamwork is an advantage;
