RESPONSABILITATI

Our client is an international company with 80 years of experience in manufacturing electrical enclosures and components for industrial, electrical and data & telecommunication markets. They are currently in the process of starting up a factory in Romania (Brasov region). The production process will mainly be of traditional sheet metal working machines (punching, presses, welding, painting, etc). Starting from a headcount of zero, within two years they expect the personnel to be approaching 200.
Together we are looking for a Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for accounting evidence;
- Bookkeeping of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, travel expenses etc.;
- Being involved in debt collection/credit control/purchase ledger;
- Being responsible for month-end closing process and drawing-up monthly and annual financial statements;
- Reviewing the month-end adjustments and the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
- Verifying the correct application of the local civil law and fiscal regulatory requirements.
- Administrating issues related to personnel and company as required by Romanian law;
- Achieving agreed KPI¿s;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working environment with open communication;
- Establishing and controlling ERP data accuracy.


CERINTE

- University graduate (Economics);
- Expert/Authorized Accountant ¿ would be a plus;
- Minimum 3 year experience of working in an accounting department in a similar sized (or larger) international organisation with medium volume production;
- Relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a financial institution;
- Knowledge of IFRS, accounting closing procedures, local accounting requirements, financial statements;
- Knowledge of Romanian laws and very good knowledge of fiscal legislation;
- Computer literate ¿ MS office, ERP systems;
Fluent in English or Spanish;
- Problem-solver, organized, interpersonal skills, good communicator.
