Our client is a small group of international Danish companies. The companies within the group are market leading, dynamic and visionary with a high growth rate. These companies design and produce a high variety of products among which can be mentioned charge air coolers, cooling towers for industry, piping systems, radiator coolers, exhaust systems and associated equipment for the marine and powerplant industry.
Due to the high growth rate the company is now expanding its activities to Romania by establishing a plant in Brasov. Together we are looking for a Quality Integrator based in Brasov.
Responsibilities:
• Being responsible for quality issues related to the newly established plant in Brasov area;
• Taking responsibility for the quality of the product and assuring the quality control functions;
• Being in charge of the quality related pre-assessment and qualification of suppliers from the local supply base;
• Having full daily responsibility for the build up and quality development of the local supply base;
• Tracking and evaluating supplier quality performance, performing supplier audits;
• Setting up action plans for suppliers in order to assure the quality level required by the company.
Additional job related specifications:
The scope of the business involves the following materials and processes:
• Cast iron: GG25, GGG40, GGG50, etc;
• Metal components fabrication: Cutting, bending, rolling;
• Automated / CNC machining of cast and sheet metal components;
• Welding: TIG, MIG;
• Surface treatment: Cleaning, painting, zinc plating, electroplating;
• Electrical control circuits and boxes.
• Previous relevant experience in quality control and supplier quality within a production environment;
• Process oriented – Thinks value into all activities, from the supplier to the customer;
• Strong communicator – Interacts pro-actively, based on info from colleagues and suppliers;
• Analytical and persistent – Identifies the root causes of interest and creates a solution;
• Experienced – Knows the tips and tricks from the business, and knows how to spot them;
• Dynamic – Likes to manage a variety of tasks, with a fast pace, but never drops the ball;
• Fluent in English (read/write).
