Eurotriade and his client, a important company in storage solution are looking for a Logistic Manager. In order to support their strong growth in the international business, they require talented professional for this position.
Responsabilities:
- Co-ordinates and oversees the activity within Purchasing, Production Planning, Packaging and Transport functions.
- Purchasing, ensure forecasts and orders are placed to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Ensure that commodity prices are competitive and that suppliers are competitive and have adequate service levels (eg quality, capacity, price).
- Plan production to give high service levels to customers and where possible smooth production to enable higher production efficiencies.
- Control stocks of raw materials and finished goods. Objective to avoid waste while maintaining adequate service levels to customers.
- Ensure product packing is controlled, with appropriate labels, packing methods etc. To ensure optimum vehicle loading density and minimize risk of transport damage / mislabeling.
- Monthly inventory stoke take.
The successful candidates should ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
• Experience in logistics (transport/purchasing/production planning/packaging) ;
• Excellent communication skills, strength of character;
• Self-starter with a flexible and positive attitude;
• Be able to work within a pressurized environment on their own initiative;
• Good knowledge of production;
• A confident and co-operative personality is essential;
• Flexibility and adaptable.
