Identifying alternative sources of supply, with an emphasis on reduced total cost;
Maintain purchasing data according to procedures in line with ERP requirements;
Budget control of purchasing expenditure;
Ensure materials are ordered and delivered as required to achieve the production plans.
Engineering or Mechanical qualification;
Experience in a purchasing role;
Ability to understand working drawings;
Experience of working within a company utillising an ERP system preferably with an engineering background would be a plus;
Fluent in English;
Good communication skills.
