Identifying alternative sources of supply, with an emphasis on reduced total cost;
Maintain purchasing data according to procedures in line with ERP requirements;
Budget control of purchasing expenditure;
Ensure materials are ordered and delivered as required to achieve the production plans.
Experience of working within a company utilising an ERP system preferably with an engineering background;
Min 1 years experience in a purchasing role;
Knowledge of MRP;
Ability to understand working drawings;
Fluent in English;
Engineering or Mechanical qualification;
Good communication skills.
