The IT Operations Department is the one that ensures the maintenance and development of the infrastructure for internal and external clients (servers, networks, databases, server services) for current operations.
In that context, within our team you will be responsible with the installing, testing, maintenance, backup, monitoring, tuning and debugging of the switches/routers, the VPN, the VoIP, firewall, DNS, DHCP and Nagios monitoring system.
Ideal candidate:
Having obtained a university degree in computer science (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control, Electronics or other IT&C field), you have already accumulated an intermediate know-how about Linux environment and a good hands-on experience with network technologies: HW switches/routers, BGP, DNS, DHCP, OpenVPN, IPsec, Asterisk and Netfilter/iptables. The experience with Nagios monitoring is an advantage. You have general knowledge of the Office suite as well as good scripting abilities (Bash, Perl and/or PHP). English proficiency is a must. We are looking for a senior engineer, so a minimum 3 years experience in the field is required.
Having acquired one of the following certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (preferred), Red Hat Certified Engineer (nice to have), Cisco Certified Network Associate (nice to have) is a plus.
