Our company, located in Brasov is extending its activity. Therefore we are currently recruiting talented and ambitious people seeking careers in Purchasing.
The job's key responsabilities are:
-The Multisite Commodity Buyer will be responsible for all the suppliers related to his commodity (specialty), all over Europe, in terms of purchase strategy
- He is responsible for making sourcing decisions: to propose new suppliers to be consulted, to select a serial supplier, to make supplier fact profiles, to make risk analysis and cost savings proposals
- He is responsible to collect and analyze strategy & goals, technical trends and potential suppliers, and to make global cost analysis
- He is responsible for the strategy of his commodity: planning, overall targets, action plans, supplier consolidation and to define steps in the projects, and also to assure capacity management
- Responsible for supply base management: to negotiate the serial price, to develop the suppliers, and to evaluate other potential suppliers
- He will have to verify constantly if the local strategies comply to the global/ commodity strategies
EXPERIENCE

- University Degree (Mechanical Engineering)
- Good knowledge about metallic component manufacturing process
- Advanced communication skills in English
- Good French skills
- Experience as purchaser ( minimum 3 years in automotive industry)
- Possible backgrounds: experience in production or process engineering (2-3 years minimum)
- Good knowledge in mass production industry, in managing projects
- Good knowledge in Ms Office
