Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for his client, a worldwide supplier of automation solutions, a Managing director based in Sibiu.
As managing director you will have a drivers role for this programming standardization in the group and you will look after the example role of your team during the backup service.
You will be responsible to set up some KPI’s to follow up the performance of the programming back up service of the team and will share this with the group. And as a people manager you will coach and support your team and continuously look for training and improvement of your team.
You will install a specific human capital monitor KPI in order to work on performance improvement of your team on long term.
You are a manager with a mentality for operational excellence: quality, performance, efficiency and improvement are on top of your strategy plan.
As representative for the SW center you will have an important commercial role in the group in order to sell your programming capacity as much as possible and give full back up service to the group with your software team. You will travel on regular basis to the different plants for follow up of your team in ongoing projects and to explore with the local engineering teams your back up services for future projects (travel time will be around 25-30%). A daily management task is the follow up of the full administrative control of the programming service of your personnel to the group, the invoicing to the group and finally the financial aspects of the backup services like salaries, daily food allowance during travel, extra travel costs and all other overhead costs.
Your main task as managing director is to realize as much as programming support to the different projects in the group as the capacity of the SW center allows.
Finally you are the farmer of your SW center and you know all about costs, planning of projects, performance of your team, free capacity and future projects to come and you will report these things on monthly basis to the group management following the standard group rules.
Technical Skills:
- technical background with knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic principles
- preferable electro-mechanical engineering background
- able to read electrical schemes and mechanical drawings of machines
- passionate by industrial automation and high technology
- programming experience of PLC and/or PC
- and if necessary willing to refresh basic knowledge of programming
- knowledge of lean manufacturing, operational excellence and standardization
Managerial and Personal skills:
- people manager
- strategic thinker and analytical mind
- farmer with knowledge of P&L control
- experience with managing a company of minimum 50 people
- willing to travel
- listener and commercial
- English and Romanian is a must; French, German, Spanish or Portuguese are advantages
