Our company, located in Brasov is extending its activity. Therefore we are currently recruiting talented and ambitous people seeking carrers in Purchasing.
The job's key responsabilities are:
- The local commodity buyer has to manage the local suppliers on daily working and to secure the capacity for the plant
- He has to ensure a technical support of the products and processes within the supplier sites and in the company
- Develop a panel of local suppliers capable of delivering Autoliv in quality, costs, delivery (Q, C, D) and service by prospecting new suppliers and ensuring technological scanning of the market
- Evaluate and audit the potential suppliers, in close teamwork with European commodity buyers and Supplier Quality Engineer, according to Autoliv requirements
- Start a business relationship with the selected supplier
- Develop Autoliv standards at the suppliers and verify their application:
- The commodity buyer has to deploy the “Autoliv Supplier Management” (ASM)
- He has also to promote and to spread out the “Autoliv Production System” (APS)
- He participates in the continuous improvement steps at the supplier by coordinating and following the progress plans
- The commodity buyer plays the role of interface between the suppliers and the Autoliv Group.
EXPERIENCE

-University Degree (Mechanical Engineering)
- Knowledge in marketing, in mass production industry
- Advanced communication skills in English
- Good French skills
- Experience in production, or process engineering, or design, or engineering in mechanics area (minimum 2-3 years)
- Experience as purchaser, in automotive industry if possible (1-3 years minimum)
- Good knowledge in Ms Office
