The LABBS is planned to create innovation by issuing IT instruments of great quality. In the context of expanding our team, we will welcome 3 new juniors.
For an applied research project concerning text analysis, data mining and process/knowledge discovery, we are now looking for a self-driven and smart person for Junior Ergonomics – UI Designer job opening. As a Computer Science graduate, you have a knack for innovative ideas and for boundary-crossing inquisitiveness. You have very good knowledge about 1 or 2 main programming languages and you can fluently express your ideas in English.
Under the direction of PentaLabbs, you will participate in producing proofs of concept and prototypes for a three-part project:
- software development processes discovery;
- process scoring for discovering of optimal practices;
- knowledge repository.
You will also be responsible of:
- Design and specify user interactions for Pentalog Labbs product applications;
- Work with usability engineers to translate findings from user research and validate your design;
- Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field required;
- Good knowledge of 1 or 2 main programming languages (C++, Java, .NET, PHP, etc);
- Knowledge in interaction designs directly in HTML and CSS;
- Knowledge of prototyping and development tools: AXURA, Visio, Dreamweaver, GWT, Flex, Silverlight;
- Understanding of and experience with user-centered interaction design principles;
- Strong ability to look at problems from user, designer and developer point of view;
- Database: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle;
- Good knowledge in OOP;
- Excellent organization and teamwork;
- Out of the box thinking;
- Genuine curiosity and proactive attitude;
- Fluency in English – mandatory, French is a strong plus.

Pentalog dispune de agentii in urmatoarele tari: Romania (Bucuresti,
Brasov, Iasi), Republica Moldova (Chisinau), Franta (Orleans, Bordeaux, Paris) si Germania (Frankfurt). 80% din cifra de afaceri a agentiei din Bucuresti este realizata pentru mari clienti locali, pentru care suntem implicati in proiecte de anvergura.
Grupul Pentalog a realizat in 2007 o crestere interna de 67% si o cifra de afaceri de 5,5M?. La inceputul anului 2008, echipa Pentalog numara deja 200 de persoane.
Datorita acestor indicatori pozitivi, preconizam pentru 2008 crearea a numeroase noi posturi in toate agentiile noastre din Romania si Republica Moldova, o crestere de 40% din efectivul actual.
In contextul unei piete a muncii dificile, Pepiniera Pentalog este un program care pe de o parte formeaza tineri programatori iar pe de alta parte organizeaza traininguri pentru angajati.
Pentalog realizeaza in permanenta benchmarkuri in vederea deschiderii de noi agentii. Asadar, va propunem sa va alaturati unei echipe in plina crestere si unei companii care ofera mediul tehnologic, social si financiar necesar construirii unei cariere.
