Under general supervision, plans, organizes, and coordinates the staff of the concrete crew. Performs all necessary duties pertaining to the supervision of the daily operation and personnel involved in site work concrete construction including slip-forming, form-setting, flatwork and finishing.

Responsibilities:
As a CONCRETE FOREMAN, you will have the responsibility to set schedules and direct the actions of two or more crew members on construction sites in their day to day construction and production activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises finishing of wet surfaces to grade on all types of concrete work requiring a fine finish;
- Occasionally demonstrates proper concrete finishing techniques;
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in constructing roads, streets and railways, airport runways;
- Reads blueprints and interprets data in all phases of road construction, including mixture of concrete most suitable for soil conditions;
- Required Skills 6 years of experience in craft roles related to highway or railways construction, 2 years in Foreman position;
- Requires stretching, stooping, bending, squatting, twisting lifting, pushing, pulling and kneeling.
- Project planning;
- Estimating/ordering materials either through PM or Superintendent;
- Management of crew members;
- Responsible for quality control and overall quality of end product;
- Minimizing waste;
- Completing assignment within allotted time and budget.
This person will be responsible for the onsite layout which will include:
- Staking dimensions of footings, slabs and foundation walls from blueprint;
- Managing a crew of 3-10 people depending on job size;
- Traveling between job sites.
- A history of completing high quality projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to read and understand blue prints.
- Demonstrated skills in all facets of concrete work including but not limited to: foundation construction, slab-on-grade construction, concrete wall construction, form work, and finishing.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate crew members.
- Ability to complete layout and establish existing and finish grade.
- Demonstrated ability to plan ahead and eliminate problems prior to them impacting a project.
- Willingness to travel.
