The R&D Manager will be responsible for new products and solutions. This product development leader will be responsible for planning and managing all R&D activities and engineering staff and leading investigations aimed at technologies applicable to new embedded products.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction for a product development-engineering group.
Coach and develop engineering staff to meet personal development and corporate performance objective.
Evaluate new technologies, techniques, and materials and where appropriate bring to introduction in new and existing products.
Ensure that all development initiatives and processes are in conformance with the organization¿s established policies and procedures.
Apply technical expertise and management experience in providing overall leadership and direction to development engineering.
Work closely with all functions: Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineers.
Identify and track resource and cost estimates; facilitate requirements gathering sessions with customers; coordination with all stakeholders to ensure compliance, quality, training, testing, and marketing requirements have been met.
BS in electronically engineering;
4-6 years experience in a similar position, preferable in a multinational company; product development experience;
Demonstrated success in product development and bringing concepts to market;
Experience in leading a large group of professional and technical staff as the companies needs demand.
Experience in managing multiple technology projects from inception to market launch.
Ability to interface and communicate with physicians, engineers, and other operational personnel.
Strong affinity and experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing.
