Our client is a multinational company, a worldwide leader in automotive safety, a pioneer with the widest product offering for automotive safety.
Together we are looking for a Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Implementing a Finance Organization that is able to support the divisions and meets the requirement for SOX;
Ensuring the company's consolidation routine of all different sub-ledgers together with the division controller and finance organization;
Reviewing and providing the necessary reports to the local authorities;
Coordinating several projects, organising and supervising several teams simultaneously;
Developing relationship and maintaining communication with clients, their auditors and tax authorities;
Identifying and managing risk;
Getting involved in business problem solving;
Providing technical direction, guidance and support on accounting treatment and tax matters to the team;
Having a positive contribution to the leadership of the organisation;
Contributing to new business development projects;
Being an effective advisor and mentor for the team;
Instilling in staff commitment to quality service for clients’ success.
At least five-years relevant experience in a multinational environment, including at least three years experience in managing staff, preferably subsidiary of a multinational company;
Strong technical skills in Romanian accounting, tax (some experience in IFRS is an advantage) and US-GAAP;
Customer oriented attitude;
A“can do” attitude;
High level of professionalism and “0 ppm” mentality;
Good management and organizing skills;
Good IT-affinity and experience in integrated IT systems;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with people at all levels;
Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
Integrity and straight forward thinking;
Business development abilities;
University degree in economics or accounting;
Fluent in English (verbally and written).
