-Supporting the General Manager in establishing a viable business
-Creating and managing systems that deliver relevant, accurate and timely management information
-Custodian of accounting standards
-Ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards
-Preparing annual budget plans; ensuring an effective cash management
-Reviewing company business results, identification of problem areas, developing proposals for improvement
-Assessing commercial and financial justification for capital investment proposals
-Preparing statutory reports under IFRS and tax declarations
-Developing internal controls and operating procedures
-Developing and implementing IT applications incl ERP systems (Navision)
-Responsible for overall credit management, managing of credit risk
-Guiding, managing, developing and controlling subordinated staff and business units
-University degree in Controlling/Accounting/Finance
-Several years of experience in an international manufacturing company
-Solid knowledge of financial and operating practices
-Sound knowledge of business investment appraisals
-Knowledge of statutory regulations within Romania
-Good written and spoken English skills
-Sound appreciation of business IT requirements
