Overview of your role inside the team:
As an Expert - PHP Magento in our team, your mission includes developing and maintaining web-applications, e-Commerce and social networking sites using Magento Enterprise framework. You can do this either as an external collaborator for a fixed period of time, or as a full-time employee. The choice is yours and the project is very ambitious, as there are multiple sites that our partner is currently managing. As a relevant example, the most popular of these sites gathers around 42 millions users all over the world and is recognized by far as number 1 among all the social platform European leaders.
In this context, you will join a dedicated team of 5 highly experienced PHP specialists and 1 Team Leader. The job will be located in one of the cities where Pentalog is present: Iasi, Brasov, Cluj, Bucuresti or Sibiu.
As an Expert - PHP Magento, you will be in charge with followings:
- to point out issues with the existing architectures and codes on different projects, followed by offering help in order to clean it up;
- to manage several research topics, studies or internships, internal code reviews, and technical audits;
- to assist commercial proposals and continue evaluation of coworkers;
- to drive innovation by adding and debating new ideas for the products and processes involved;
- to point out issues and advocate the best solutions while still presenting both the advantages and the limits that each one implies;
- to guide the development of new modules and the further expansion of the existing ones;
- to act as a mentor and coach towards other team members;
- to write technical specifications and reports.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have:
- Confirmed experience in working on PHP based online applications, website projects (at least 5 years);
- Very good experience with Magento is mandatory; knowledge in Zend, Symphony, PHP4, PHP5, JavaScript, JQuery is a great advantage;
- Experience with SQL Oracle and MySql;
- Knowledge of Webservices Json & REST will be a plus;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; any French knowledge would be considered a plus;
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Grupul Pentalog a realizat in 2007 o crestere interna de 67% si o cifra de afaceri de 5,5M?. La inceputul anului 2008, echipa Pentalog numara deja 200 de persoane.
Datorita acestor indicatori pozitivi, preconizam pentru 2008 crearea a numeroase noi posturi in toate agentiile noastre din Romania si Republica Moldova, o crestere de 40% din efectivul actual.
In contextul unei piete a muncii dificile, Pepiniera Pentalog este un program care pe de o parte formeaza tineri programatori iar pe de alta parte organizeaza traininguri pentru angajati.
