Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures;
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports;
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions;
- Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
- Responsible for all taxes obligations;
- Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs;
- Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets systems;
- Assures compliance with state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws;
- Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets;
- Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information;
- Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position;
- Work with external auditors during financial audits;
- Staff management and development;
- Adhere to internal and external deadlines;
- Develop and implement various accounting procedures.
- Have professional experience in financial and accounting operations of minimum 5 years;
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience in a position of senior accountant or head of the accounting department in a production company;
- Strong GAAP accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial analysis.;
- Have very good level of English knowledge, Hungarian would be an advantage;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
- Economic Studies, ideally with additional post-graduation degree in the Accounting;
- Strong management skills;
- Conscientious about assignments and quality of work product;
- Accountable for specific performance;
- Team player;
