Our client is an international production company with HQ/production facility in Denmark, as well as a production facility in China. The products are traded worldwide primarily through the marine and power plant sectors. For their growing manufacturing facility in Brasov we are looking for an Accountant.
The new Accountant will report to the company's financial manager and also to the group's global financial manager.
Responsibilities:
Preparing all relevant accounting documents including journal entries;
Assisting with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements;
Preparing and submitting the periodical declarations with the Fiscal Administration;
Offering support with accounts receivable and accounts payable;
Monitoring the balance stock reports and making sure they are correct;
Conducting the inventory procedures;
Operating with the informatic system and checking the accuracy of data introduced in the ERP system;
Assisting in procedures involving tax computations and returns;
Supporting the senior staff in other accounting related activities as requested.
Updated with the Romanian legislation;
Very good bookkeeping experience;
Experienced in using ERP systems ( our client is using XAL system );
Strong communicator in verbal and written English;
Experienced user of IT tools, e.g. MS Office;
Educational background that gives the theoretical base for the position.
