•Develop mechanical design projects in Pro/E, technical specification development, development and execution of project management plans, etc.
•Assignments in USA and Europe (UK, France, Germany) for short and long term duration
•Provide specialized solutions to mechanical design problems.
•Perform within the defined norms of quality, deadlines and work-estimations to ensure customer satisfaction
•Provide status information on project/own activities to the collaborators.
•The work will be done in conjunction with 6 Sigma teams composed of engine and machine group representatives.
•Will have an opportunity work for reputed brands like Caterpillar, John Deere, Harley Davidson etc
•University Degree (BS or MS) with Mechanical Engineering
•Candidate should possess a strong technical background with at least 3-5 years work experience in analysis, engine design/development, or machine design/development with at least a general knowledge of Cat machines
•Proficiency in using Pro/Engineer. Additional knowledge of CAD software will be considered a plus
•Fluent in English is a must, any other language is a plus
•WILLINGNESS to travel abroad – one of the following location: USA and Europe (UK, France, Germany)
•In possession of a valid passport, no restrictions
•Valid and clean driver's license
•Candidate must be effective working in a team environment and have the ability to confidently interface with multiple customer groups across the company.
•Strong customer and quality focus and excellent communication skills are required.
•Very organized, able to meet deadlines, dynamic person with a proactive attitude;
•Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and processes
•Experience in design engineering clients like: Caterpillar, John Deere, Harley Davidson, etc, (particularly hands on experience on best practices, internal standards etc.)
