- Network infrastructure design, implementation and ongoing monitoring, in order to maintain / improve its performance and minimize / eliminate unplanned downtimes.
- Scheduled / unscheduled data backups and recovery actions.
- IT systems physical, logical and procedural security implementation and maintenance / monitoring.
- Hardware and software deskside support for desktop and laptop PC’s, as well as for local and network printers.
- Hardware and software asset management.
- End-user system credentials lifecycle management.
- Technical communications with service providers, in order to maintain best-in-class services and solve technical issues.
- Design, testing and deployment of new software builds.
- Design, testing, implementation and update of network infrastructure and IT systems security procedures.
- Collaboration with the rest of the IT team, in order to solve in due time any network and security problems.
- Active participation in the design / testing / maintenance of the ITCP (IT continuity plan).
Qualification Requirements:
- Any Engineering / Computer Science degree
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in managing network infrastructures and / or IT systems security. Any certification would be a plus.
- Very good understanding of hardware and software technologies. Any certification would be a plus.
- Windows & Unix / Linux OS configurations, security hardening and assessment.
- Vulnerability testing skills.
- Host security auditing.
- Knowledge and experience of firewalls and security monitoring systems.
- Strong hands-on experience of Cisco routers, WAN / LAN, TCP / IP, VPN and routing protocols knowledge.
- Understanding and experience in securing wireless networks.
- Project planning and management experience. Any certification would be a plus.
- Very good command of English (spoken and written).
