For one of our clients, a company active in the Port Activity field, we are looking for a Technical Manager for the Port Activities Department.
Responsibilities:
- Realizing repair programs for port equipment, ships, vehicles and elaborating budgets for these repairs;
- Contracting repair works based on the scheduled repair programs, doing a follow -up of the repairs having in view existing technical standards;
- Controlling the acquisition of the spare parts and materials, having in view existing procedures;
- Representing the firm, as a Harbour Operator, in the relation with the authorities and with the clients;
- Monitoring and controlling port operations costs, controlling energetic, materials and spare parts costs;
- Organizing and controlling the auxiliary and production personnel.
- Technical university degree;
- Minimum 7 year experience in the port activities field ;
- Good knowledge of the port operations and labour regulations in this field of activity;
- Strong technical (mechanic, electrical, energetic) knowledge;
- Knowledge of MS Office;
- Good command of English;
- Presentation and negotiation skills.
