The Data Warehouse Architect will be responsible for the design of the data warehouse architecture, starting from the assessment of the existing situation and of needs until the proposal of the solution, applying multi-tier technologies for the web-enabled access applications.
He/she will be responsible for the coordination of the entire team for creating the scheme of the DW, with the use of the appropriate mechanisms to ensure the controlled access by functionality and roles, as well as the implementation of the appropriate data profiling, cleansing and ETL procedures and applications and will closely work with Web Designer and DW Developer key experts.
The Data Warehouse Architect will work at the Beneficiary premises in close cooperation with the Beneficiary team for that component, using the existing infrastructure, created with this purpose within the GDIT. He is responsible for skills and knowledge transfer to the Beneficiary team.
- University degree in IT or other relevant to the project fields;
- Professional training courses appropriate for the position in the project. Professional Certificates will be an advantage;
- Excellent command of English
General professional experience
- Above 5 years of experience in IT field,
- Experience in software development projects - participation in two projects for at least one year duration.
Specific professional experience
- Experience in defining DW architecture for large organisations, special professional experience in designing risk analysis solutions based on DW, in multi-tier technology and with the implementation of security requirements - Participation in minimum 2 similar projects (size and complexity).
