Short job description
• Feasibility studies, design studies, modification studies of HVAC and Fire Protection installations.
• Diagnoses and audits of HVAC/FIRE protection installations.
• Modeling of HVAC/FIRE-protection systems, simulation of complex situations
• Operations & Maintenance support for HVAC/FIRE protection equipment.
• Design specifications, procurement specifications, implementation & start-up of HVAC/FIRE protection installations.
Your function
You will be in charge for various contracts involving system modifications of the power generating units in the field of HVAC and FIRE protection.
• Your technical background will enable you, together with our experts, to actively participate with them in finding the technical solutions to be provided to our customer and drafting technical specifications
• Your main tasks consist of starting up the bidding process, the bid evaluation, negotiating and contract awarding, the follow up of the contracts in terms of respect of planning and budgets until the commissioning of the new systems
• You will follow up the contractors to ensure the quality of the supplies in due time
• You report regularly and spontaneously to your superiors and to the project manager
• You are willing to share your experience and to help coaching your younger colleagues
Qualifications
• Mechanical / electromechanical engineer with contract management experience
• Good language skills : Dutch, French and English,
• Ability to draft reports and synthesis documents
• Having a relevant experience in Contract Management - particularly in the context of the European Regulations
• Technical experience in the field of HVAC/FIRE protection will be considered as an important asset
• Having good communications, negotiating, commercial and reporting skills.
• Inquiring and critical mind, dynamic, rigorous, pragmatic.
• Capacity to assume responsibilities and to take initiative and an ability to work autonomously.
• Team player and capacity to develop personal contacts, good listener and communicator.
• Prepared to carry out short or medium-duration assignments abroad.
