The Technology Engineer is member of the R&D team. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for further optimization of the existing technologies but also for developing new technologies and implementing them in prototype gearboxes. You will initiate new ideas for research, translates in technology projects end works active on the technology growth in the company. You will specify test programs which you will manage. You will explore in depth on specific subsystems within the mechanical power line (gear techniques, sealing systems, micro and macro contact geometry, connection technology, lubrication and cooling systems, vibration and sound testing) and creates calculation models or software programs. You will share your new knowledge with you colleagues by creating design guidelines and by giving courses. The Product development engineers will count on you as an advisor when they development new type of gearboxes. You will be working together during design reviews, where you assure that new technologies are implemented. Je assist them also with choosing the suppliers and create technical specifications for purchase and quality.
As technology engineer you will build a solid basic knowledge from which you can grow to a specialized expert of all round technologist in different directions.
• Master Electro Mechanics of Civil Engineer Mechanics.
• Takes initiative with attention to a streamlined and client oriented organisation.
• Teamplayer, inspired and focussed on clear communication.
• Creative, eager to learn and responsible
• Profound knowledge end affinity with mechanical techniques, also very complex challenges may not frighten you.
• Experience with CAD/FEM systems, Mathcad, Mathlab en other calculation software is a pro.
• English mandatory, Dutch and German preferably
• minimum 5 years of experience in one of the following discipline: gear, bearing, bolt connection, spline connection
