› Gathering business requirements and performing the technical analysis,
› Developing proof of concept and prototype functionality; implement add-on functionality to existing applications to satisfy client needs
› Designing and developing applications and data model using Oracle development tools,
› Thoroughly documenting and testing of the developed modules,
› Reporting activity progress to the project leader,
› Effective support and communication with the client and other team members.
Technical Skills:
› Between 3 and 8 years experience in IT,
› Good knowledge of application development environments,
› Good knowledge of relational database systems,
› Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments,
› Experience in developing software applications, especially using J2EE technologies: Servlets, JSP, JSTL, Struts, JSF, Spring, Hibernate,
› Oracle database design and development experience (SQL, PL/SQL, DB Administration concept),
› Familiar with Web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS, Ajax is a plus),
› Experience with Oracle development tools and technologies is an advantage.
Soft skills :
› Being able to effectively communicate(written, oral) in English, French is a plus,
› Experience of working with large development teams; international experience is an advantage,
› Willing to work abroad for long term assignments; work will be performed at the customer site in Brussels.
