For the site in Romania ( Maramures , Satu Mare area ) we are looking for a
QUARRY MANAGER ROMANIA
In this high-responsibility position you will serve first as technical manager of the quarry and may subsequently have the chance to take over general management.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the operations of the quarry
Planning and monitoring of Production (staff, equipment use, maintenance planning) and quality according standard requirements & obligations and timely product delivery in cooperation with the sales department
Responsible for compliance of all relevant regulatory and operational government regulations and all safety regulations for employees and operations
Responsible for the cost-effective use of staff, machinery and equipment and preventive maintenance and timely repair of machines
Create timely proposals for investment planning (replacement and new investments)
Planning, monitoring and ongoing optimization of all work and production processes
Ongoing maintenance of the production readiness and the operating licenses (concessions)
Responsible for the cost-optimized storage and optimal use of available raw material resources
Close cooperation and regular consultation with management and sales
Requirements:
High technical education
Ability to lead mining operations
Experience in the same position
Minimum 5 years of management experience
Romanian as their mother tongue and good knowledge of German or English
Readiness to work overtime and under time-pressure, deal with unforeseen intermediate between cases
Entrepreneurial spirit, especially in terms of cost and budget
Communication skills, assertive, decisive
