• Act as Project Manager in public and private investment projects in the field of Water Supply & Sanitation and possibly Solid Waste and Flood Management comprising but not limited to: project identification & formulation, feasibility studies, design according FIDIC Yellow and RED Book, Tender Documents, Procurement, Site Supervision
• Co-ordinate teams of technical experts in projects according to national and international contract requirements and assuring the quality in accordance with ISO 10006/1997 – Guidelines to Quality in Project Management.
• Delivery of expertise in the fields of Water, Waste Water and Environment to studies and designs made by Haskoning both in Romania and elsewhere in the world;
• Travel nationally and internationally for company and project purposes;
• Prepare Proposals and Offers and discuss them with Clients in order to acquire new Orders
Qualifications and skills:
• Romanian Engineer
• Strong skills in managing a team composed of international and local experts
• Thorough knowledge and experience in running EC and IFI projects
• Good command in English
General professional experience:
• At least 10 years of professional experience;
• Relevant experience in technical assistance co-ordination, detailed design and construction supervision;
• Experience as Team Leader / Deputy Team Leader in similar projects;
• Experience in project management and administration of FIDIC based contracts is an advantage.
Specific professional experience:
• At least 5 years experience in design, construction supervision and rehabilitation of urban water and wastewater infrastructure.
