Some organization units of the IAEA provide software development services to other areas of the organization. These organizational units require on-site Microsoft .NET software development services of a Contractor to supply their own staff in order to satisfy current demand for the services. the Contractor's consultants will be assigned tasks within software engineering projects managed bu IAEA staff. These tasks will involve the design, contraction, testing and documentation of specific software components, as defined by IAEA staff and following standards established in the organizational units.
The IAEA are seeking a skilled Junior .NET and C# developers with a good background in building production -ready applications and services on the Microsoft Technology stack. As a Junior Developer, this person will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external services and application under the direction of International Atomic energy Agency management. - Build new services and application with .NET 4.0/ C#/ WCF and using SQL Server 2008+;
- Develop new functionality on our existing software products;
- Enhance and maintain our existing services and applications;
- Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule;
- Minimum Three (3) years of experience as a developer;
- Minimum Three (3) years of experience with the .NET technology stack;
- Minimum Two (2) years working with SQL Server (2005/2008+);
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance;
- Working knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008+, C#, WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET;
- Basic knowledge of software implementation best practices;
- Basic experience designing and working with n-tier along with some experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA);
- Working knowledge about ADO.NET ( writing efficient data-access code, work with stored procedures);
- Basic knowledge about security related topics, secure coding;
- Knowledge about SCRUM / agile development practice is a plus;
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment;
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
